Winston Churchill, the Wonder Yorkie, is a Pet Therapy dog.  His duties include improving human health by providing unconditional love and stress relief to young and old.  He relates well to babies, toddlers and adults.

Animals provide a constant source of comfort and focus for attention, bringing out our nurturing instinct. They also make us feel safe and unconditionally accepted.  Petting a dog has been shown to lower blood pressure.  Bringing a pet into a nursing home or hospital can boost peoples’ moods and enhance their social interaction.  For those suffering from trauma or grief, a trained dog can provide comfort by sitting quietly for petting.

Winston is experienced in long term care settings, Alzheimers residential facilities and women’s shelters.  He is available to visit your loved one or to provide comfort in our office.
